On Monday and Tuesday nights – between 8pm and 5am – Pest Control operations will take place along the Hūnua Traverse route. Key areas include dam faces and associated operational areas and access roads. These areas will be closed and signage displayed.
Monday 6th November – Mangatangi and Upper Mangatawhiri Dams (Southern Preview)
Tuesday 7th November – Hunua Forest (Northern Preview)
The Hūnua Traverse remains open during the day.
Please also note that a second round of Pest Control is scheduled for 11 and 12 December. Upper and Lower Mangatāwhiri campgrounds will be closed on 11 December.
