Hūnua Traverse closed for pest control

July 13, 2025

Until further notice the Hūnua Traverse has been closed for pest control activities, namely aerial drops of 1080 cereal pellets.

It is anticipated that the Traverse will reopen in approx October 2025, with any earlier reopening published on our website and social media.

Please respect all closures.
