Great news, riders; a further delay in exotic forestry harvesting work will see the Hūnua Traverse fully open (end to end) 7-days a week until late 2026.
Logging works were expected to resume in early 2026 and as of mid-January all our on-site signage reflects this timing. We’ll get this updated ASAP. In the meantime you’re safe to plan your cycling adventure.
As always, the opening status of the Hūnua Traverse will feature on the banner on our website. Please check this before you ride as it will always be up to date.
